What a week the freshman Falcons had last week!! The highlight was of course the incredible win over arch rival La Costa Canyon in a 2-game shutout. After waiting all season for the match-up we were all rewarded with a fast-paced, high-level event that had our girls jumping for joy (literally!) by the time it was all over. Don't forget we meet the Mavericks again (at home this time) on Thursday, November 6th for a rematch and the final one of the 2008 season. Be sure to tell friends, neighbors and family members about it - let's pack the house and wrap this season up with a bang!

While the match againist Escondido on 10/23 didn't pack quite the same punch, game 1 was certainly a nail-biter but we took game 2 by a fairly wide margin. The Cougars put up quite a fight and made for an exciting match up!

By week's end the freshman team remained undefeated and goes into matches with Mission Hills and Fallbrook this week. Only 4 more matches and "it's a wrap" folks - wow this season has flown by!

GREAT job girls - keep it up and let's go undefeated for the entire season!
