BACK AGAIN! Our Second annual Shimmy Retreat!
An incredible weekend of bellydancing and fun with some of the most talented dancers and teachers in the Midwest! Come ready to learn with the best!

Treat yourself to workshops featuring a variety of styles from Oriental to American Tribal Style, and even Egypto-Tribal fusion.
Workshop cost includes:
• All workshops (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)& all retreat events such as Campfire dance, climbing wall, zip-line, and teambuilding activities.
• Tent Camping (if you want to bring a camper or RV please contact so we can get correct site & addtl fees may apply)
• All meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch
• Goody bag filled with fun stuff from vendors & sponsors, a t-shirt, and a special binder of notes from each of the instructors so you can take your learning home with you!

Performances
Two Performances in one weekend! All workshop participants may sign up to dance in the Friday night Hafla. The Haflas theme this year is "Anything Goes!" So just like the theme-get creative and show us what you got! Prizes for most creative dance:)
Saturday night! Prepare to be astounded and inspired as professionals from around the Midwest (many of whom you will get a chance to learn from this weekend) come together and present Saturday night’s show: Inspiration. Tickets are available for both nights. This is one show you do not want to miss. Both events are open to the public. Tickets are $10 to the hafla (performers need tickets too) and $18 for the Saturday night show. $25 for both nights advance order. You will receive an email confirmation with pass into the campground when you purchase your tickets.

The cost of the workshop weekend is $350 and that includes your meals, workshop fees, campsite, and participant t-shirt and goody bag, henna, and zipline/rock wall (weather permitting). This is a steal! Registrations at the door are a la carte prices.
Can't stay all weekend? Individual workshops can be taken as well. Email Amira for pricing and availability. Payment plans are available. Please add $5 fee to use paypal.

This year we will be having a Campsite Decorating Contest. You can enter as a group, troupe, or individual and prizes will be given out Saturday night at the Show for the best decorations at Shimmy!

Vending Opportunities
When we Bellydancers get together we love to shop and this weekend will be no different. Come check out our Souk! We have fabulous vendors bringing in everything from hip scarves to full costumes, makeup, jewelry, and more. We have Licensed Massage Therapist, Amy Braida, on site to take care of you after long days of workshops and dancing. She was so wonderful this past year...wow...and we needed it:) If you are interested in vending or having a table for your troupe, please contact Amira Star and get on the list.
