Here is a tool that I have come up with to get straight to the point about interest compounding schedules, calculated
using a formula I think is very close to what they describe, but probably not exact. Sorry, you can't plug in your own numbers yet. There are examples of MacroTrade's new advanced compounding option! Look at the $1000 investment, that is fixed into compounding until maturity at the end of 180 days. The interest rate is 1.2% standard + 1.0% (adv. comp) which equals 2.2% a day total, starting out. As it climbs in principal through each interest tier, it attains the higher daily interest rate, so this same $1000 investment will uphill snowball to become $127,474 in 180 days, according to my calculations. Carefully watch the daily compounding effect, it is real, as long as the daily payout is consistent ;)
