Keepsake Puppies
We will have two darling fluffies, a tricolor boy and a red & white female, available soon. We also have two lovely young adults available. Inquiries are always welcome.
Here at Keepsake, I breed on a limited basis and each litter is selectively planned. I usually only breed 1-2 litters per year. In my breeding program I strive to produce beautiful dogs of outstanding corgi type and sound temperaments. Most of my dogs are champions. All of the dogs I breed are evaluated, rated and found to be free of hip dysplasia by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). My dogs eyes are tested on an annual basis by a certified ophthalmologist and cleared by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) to be free of any inheritable eye problems. My corgis are also DNA tested for a bleeding disorder, von Willebrand's Disease, that is similar to hemophillia in people.
All of my dogs live in my house, my puppies are born in my guest bedroom and raised in my kitchen surrounded by an active household. The puppies are vet checked and started on their vaccination series at 6 weeks of age. Each puppy will continue to receive a vaccine every 3 weeks until they go to their new homes. Each puppy is microchipped with permanent ID.
I let my puppies go to their new homes at 10 weeks of age. At that time, they are weaned and started on housebreaking. Each puppy goes home with a puppy book filled with information on housebreaking, crate training, feeding, grooming and general care of your new puppy. Each puppy book also contains photos of the parents, grandparents and litter of puppies from birth until they are about 8 weeks old. Each puppy also gets a puppy blanket, collar and special toy to take home. All pet puppies are sold exclusively on spay/neuter contracts and under AKC limited registration.
Below are some photos of typical Keepsake puppies.
