Welcome to my "HOME"
Ola!
I am so excited to share 2008-09 with all the fans who have been with me throughout my career. We have a lot to be grateful for over the past few years Many changes and the fulfillment of many dreams. The most important change has come in my marital status. I am now Julianne Johnson-Weiss after having married my college sweetheart Karl. Now all things are possible because there are two of us to conquer all obstacles. Sound fantasy-like? Well it should because true love and happiness has an air of pixey-dust as part of it's magic.
Many other "dreams" have come to fruition. I starred in the Broadway show "DREAMGIRLS" with Stumptown stages
theater company. It was a sell-out including the added performances at Jefferson High School. (900 seat house)

Portland Community College Sylvania is also Julianne's home where she is the director of Vocal Music for the campus. Being a full-time faculty member , she has the joy of developing , along with her colleague John Mery , new and exciting classes in vocal music for those seeking a degree or enrichment courses in music.
She has taught such classes as Choir, Chamber, Group Vocal, Private Lessons, History of Gospel, History of Jazz, Music Appreciation and more. This year offers her new opportunities to expand the existing catelogue with several more offerings like: Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Gospel Chorus, and Musical Theater Appreciation(A survey class).
