Don't Be Discourage, Be encouraged Lesson #1
"Put on the whole Armor of God..."
Eph. 6:11

"Above ALL taking the shield of FAITH
with which with you CAN quench ALL the
firey darts of the evil one."
Eph.6:16

"Pray at ALL times in the SPIRIT"
Eph. 6:18

Discouragement is one of the main darts, aimed at every one of God's children.

Webster says:
Discouragement: to lessen the courage or confidence of..

Encouragement: Give Courage in spirit or hope...

We find in God's Holy Word, His Word,
strength to over come Discouragment,
to be Encouraged.

I Peter 5:8

Be sober, be watchful, Your adversary the devil prowls around like (as) a
roaring lion."

Verse 9

"Resist him firm in your faith..."

James 4:7,8

"Resist the devil.and he WILL flee from you....draw nigh unto God and HE WILL draw nigh to you...."

Joshua 1:9

"Be strong and of good courage....for the Lord IS with you where ever you may go."

Hebrews 10:23

"Let us hold fast the confession without wavering, for HE who promised IS Faithful."

Deuteronomy 1:21

"Behold the Lord thy God has set the land before you

Deut: 11:24

"Every place whereon the soles of your shall tread, shall be yours...."

These are just a few scriptures to let you know, that at some point in your life you will become discouraged. That's all right, just DON"T allow discouragement to break you away from God.

The flesh is weak ( Matthew 26:41) come at us in many ways, rushing upon us.
1. Finances
2. children
3. Spouse
4. Family mnenbers
5. Church

When any of these (or other things) come upon you, Remember, 'God IS able",

Jesus said: " Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.."
John 14:1

Matthew 28:20 ".....I AM with you ALWAYS....."

One last word: 1 Samuel 30, David had to learn how to walk in encouragement in the Lord..(read)

We to must learn to encourage ourselves
through and IN God no matter what comes our way.

Remember: "NO weapon formed against us
(you) shall prosper" Isaiah 54:17

Don't allow the devil, ( the devil IS a liar and the truth is not in him), to rob you of your joy.

James 1:2

Brethern count it all joy when you fall in divers(various) temptations(such as discouragement)

Verse 3

"Knowning this, that the trying of you faith worketh patience."

Psalms 27:1

The Lord IS the strength of my life and my salvation: whom shall I fear?
The Lord IS the strength of my life;
of whom (or what) shall I be afraid?"

When Discouragement comes, meet it in the POWER of the Holy Ghost

Love is the Key: Lesson #2
WITHOUT WHICH YOU CAN NOT PLEASE GOD

John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that He gave His ONLY begotten Son, that whosoever ( the apple of His eye) Beleiveth in HIM should NOT perish, but have everlasting life.

This is the Greatest Love of all. When we begin to complain we should take a moment to let John3:16 soak into our soul.

LOVE is not only an Attribute of God, it is the essential of His essence.

GOD IS LOVE 1 John 4:18

Ephesians 3:19--To know the Love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with ALL the fulness of God.(RSVP) ( The Holy Ghost)

Jeremiah 31:3--The Lord appeared to him from afar off.

I have Loved you with an everlasting Love;

therefore I have continued my faithfulnes to you.(RSVP)

Agape' love indicates the nature of God's love toward His son. (His children)

John 17:26--I have made known to them Thy Name, and I will make it known, that the Love which Thou has Loved Me may be IN them, and I IN them. (RSVP)

Romans 5:8--But God shows His Love for us in yet while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

AGAPE' Love conveys God's will to His children about attitude toward one another.

John 3:34-35---For He whom God has sent
utters the words of God, for it is NOT by measure that He gives the (Holy)Spirit.

The Father loves the Son and has given ALL things into His hand.


Romans 12:10--Love one another with brotherly (sisterly) affection; out do one another is showing honor. (RSVP)


Hebrews 1-2--Let brotherly love continue.
Do not negelect to show hospitality to strangers,for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (RSVP)

2 Peter 1:7-- And Godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with LOVE. (RSVP)

Brotherly Love: The love of God's children, (CHRISTIANS), for one another, since ALL of God's sons and daughters
are of the same FATHER.

Matthew 23:8---But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Christ, and ALL ye are brethern.

Christians are a brotherhood in the service of Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour. Love is as salt to season the pot.

Matthew 5:13---Ye are the Salt of the earth; but if the salt have lost his flavor, wherewith shall it be salted...

LOVE enables us to walk in God's commandments.

Psalms 119:32--I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shall enlarge my heart.

Without love for ALL (God's LOVE), we are nothing.

Matthew 5:13....(salt) it is thenceforth good for Nothing, but to be castout,and to trodden underfoot of man.

Without Love,you cannot please God, for God is LOVE.

I Corinthians 13:8---Charity (LOVE) never fails....

Loving one another is NOT and option...
One must Love ALL in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
